before I make this tutorial how to install custom content for sims 3..I wanna let you know about the file's type
1.The white blank file,as we call it as .package as you can see it end with .package or [
WinRAR] showing the type of folder
2.The [
Plumbob(The Sims Wikia)] icon,call as The Sims 3 Custom Content file or Sims3Pack file,the simple way to install custom content is this file type
much sure is latest version,for me recommend update ONCE only,just like me (Billy)
so,let start with .package file first
Tutorial for .Package file
after download,open the zip/rar folder and drop the 'Mod' file to
and test the game,if the game without intro like directly put you to loading screen..it mean it working!
if it failed,you might put the 'Mod' to wrong place
after done download,open up the zip/rar folder and see what file type contain inside? if the file type was The Sims 3 Custom Content or Sims3Pack..please hold on,if it was .package and follow me what to do
go to the 'Mod' file you just dropped open it up and you will see Packages and Resource.cfg
drop anything which end with .package to Packages folder!
when you start the game,some might send you a notice when you at main menu like:
Mod Found:
Name of the mod that you just install
Note:If you remove the 'nointro.package',intro will show like it was normal
and same as the another example file inside the package 'NoBuildSparkles.package' if remove..sparkles appear

ok,now is The Sims 3 Custom Contest file/Sims3Pack time!
is easy as 1-2-3..456789 LOL
2.Check it what file type it was (if .package file please look at above tutorial,if The Sims 3 Custom Content or Sims3Pack file,please continued on this section's tutorial)
3.Drop the The Sims 3 Custom Content or Sims3Pack file to Downloads folder in:
"Everyone have a Downloads folder,if don't have,just create one new folder and name it as Downloads"
4.Open up the The Sims 3 Game Launcher
5.Press Downloads at The Sims 3 Game Launcher
"image for number 4 and 5"
6.select which item you wanted to install
"select and press install (Red box),same thing as delete (Purple Box)...if it was gray out,it mean it in the game"
7.now you must wait
here what will happen after you press Install
"this come out first"
"then this follow up,and press ok"

8.Press ok and you ready to go!!(Press play)

I remember the time,when me and my girlfriend on Skype and she show me that she playing the sims 3
she lived with 2 Korean male celebrities.. me jealous LOL btw,I guess this might help her XD
for custom sims (people who got the skill to make the Sims (Character) look like celebrity) file also come with 2 type.. if it was The Sims 3 Custom Content or Sims3Pack..please follow the tutorial above

Note:to complete your downloaded sims,please read the info what it require and what custom content it need..or else it fail by making 'almost same' sims that you just download..
open up the zip/rar file and check the file type
if it was .sim,here where you should drop the file:
"If you don't have the folder,create new folder and name it as SavedSims"
and after you drop it you can find them at
Create-a-household,then at the left bottom's button
note:if with pet expansion installed,button will appear with pet
